Children’s charity Little Miracles Fenland branch launches Christmas present appeal
A charity which supports children with additional needs and disabilities is appealing for help from members of the public this Christmas.
Little Miracles’ Fenland branch helps children and their families who have life-limiting conditions all year round, but want to bring some Christmas cheer to the youngsters it supports.
Youth worker for the charity Sophia Wakeman has organised a present appeal - asking for toys to help bring a “huge difference” to a child’s Christmas.
Sophia said: “A present, which some families may not be able to afford, could make a child’s or young person’s Christmas.
“It may not seem like anything big, but could make a huge difference to a child’s life.”
Little Miracles is looking for donations of brand-new, unwrapped toys, selection boxes and other presents that will be gifted to the children the charity supports at its Christmas party.
To arrange a collection for presents get in touch with Sophia by emailing fenland@littlemiraclescharity.org.uk or call 01733262226.
