March Town draw top-of-the-table clash at St Neots while Wisbech Town suffer home defeat to Boston Town in derby encounter
March Town returned home with a point from their top-of-the-table clash at St Neots on Tuesday night while Wisbech Town were beaten at home by Boston Town.
The Hares were forced to settle for a share of the spoils in the UCL Premier Division South after a 1-1 draw while the Fenmen lost 2-0 to the Poachers in the Premier Division North.
March came within two minutes of a huge victory on the road before being pegged back by the 10-man Saints.
Dan Cotton opened the scoring after 72 minutes but the second-placed hosts, who had Connor Furlong sent off a minute before March's opener, levelled two minutes from full-time through Danny Baulk.
On Saturday, fourth-placed Rugby Borough are the visitors to the GER in another big game for Ash Taylor's side.
