March youngsters make their mark at Cambridgeshire County Athletic Association Sportshall Athletics

March Athletics Club juniors competed at the Cambridgeshire County Athletic Association Sportshall Athletics 2024.

Maddie Barnes, Mia Barwick, Luke Royston and Maisie and Rowan Whittlesey competed in a range of track and field events with many finishing in podium spots in their races.

Rowan starred, finishing first in the two-lap running race, first in the vertical jump and first in the relay.

The competitors all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and put forward amazing performances showing that the weekly training is massively paying off.

The following day, March AC had Luke Fenner and Sue Ward running the Larking Gowen Norwich Half Marathon.

Fenner led the way for the club finishing the race in 2:26:39 followed by Ward in 2:44:46, completing yet another Half Marathon.
