Fenland athletes participate in Run Luminate 5k at Sandringham
Three Counties Running Club members took part in the Run Luminate 5k.
The start and finish was within the Sandringham Estate Royal Parkland and the event boasted a super scenic route with stunning light trails from the Luminate attraction - the winter event at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
The first race had 869 finishes and the second one had 609, so a fantastic turnout.
Last Friday, Sophie Kirtley and Craig Freestone took part in the Rutland Night 10k race.
The route is completely traffic-free, on well-maintained footpaths and was open to all abilities and is more about the atmosphere than racing.
There were over 1100 runners across the two nights with 486 on Friday and 666 on Saturday.
Freestone had a great run finishing in 27th position out of 486 and a CPB 43:50 and Kirtley had a fantastic run to finish with a CPB 1:14:39.
